    When I have tried to import LOINC content using the "Subscription Import Wizard" I have errors. I have posted a piece of the log file just in case you could help me.

    Its hard to tell exactly what the problem is, but we believe it may be due to your Oracle configuration. Here are some suggestions:
    1. Oracle needs to be set up for UTF-8 data.
    2. It appears you are using Oracle Express – we know there are database size limitations with this package which could affect your ability to load LOINC, especially if you have loaded other Namespaces.

    So ¿Do you suggest me to use other DBMS or tu tune my Oracle instance?

    By the way I've heard that this version of Apelon DTS is not stable ¿Do you recommend me to use Apelon DTS 3.5 instead?

    Thanks in advance

    In addition this is my Oracle instance charset:

    SQL> SELECT value$ FROM sys.props$ WHERE name = 'NLS_CHARACTERSET' ;

    VALUE$
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

    AL32UTF8

    We've done additional testing in-house on your issue and have not been able to reproduce on standard platforms, so I don't think tuning would help. Oracle Express Edition is not a supported platform, so we would suggest you try to use one of the supported DBMS versions. This would apply whether you stay with 4.0 or go to 3.5.2.

    Not quite sure what you mean by "unstable" but we have many clients testing and evaluating DTS 4.0 and a number are running in production. We have had a few "growing pains" with web services support, but these have been resolved. See the FAQ and other Forum entries for additional information.

    Please do keep us up-to-date with your progress.

    I think that my problem could be related to tablespaces size. ¿What is the minimun size for Oracle tablespaces?

    Now this is my configuration:

    The required size is dependent on the amount of data you will be loading, but for LOINC alone, allocate at least 2.5GB to the DTS Oracle tablespace.
